The Fresco-Connected Kitchen at IFA 2024.

Team Fresco was thrilled to be a part of IFA’s centennial in Berlin last week. The show began in 1924 to debut the biggest innovation for that time- radio. Now, the renowned gathering boasts over 200,000 visitors each year looking for the latest and greatest in innovation and technology.

As IFA 2024 celebrated “100 Moments of IFA.” Fresco, too, marked many milestones at the esteemed event.

Fresco revealed our new booth with a fully operational smart kitchen, where we showcased connected appliances from partners including Panasonic, Middleby (Viking), Kenwood and Instant Pot Brands. Through step-by-step recipes, ingredient presets, cooking notifications and more, we demonstrated our goal to help consumers spend their time and energy enjoying delicious meals rather than stressing about them.

Fresco’s Regan Burns and Monika Zaporpwska cooked using products from three brands through our KitchenOS platform, highlighting our smart kitchen interoperability (and ensuring that Fresco was the most delicious booth at IFA!)

Our sleek space, spacious meeting room and beautiful kitchen allowed the team to meet with current and future partners, show KitchenOS in action, and raise a glass to 100 years of IFA (and ourselves!) as we hosted colleagues, media and partners for a lively cocktail party on site.

Fresco CEO Ben Harris led engaging demos to enthusiastic visitors to the booth, where home cooks were excited to hear - and see - how Fresco is working to simplify, inspire, and enhance their experience.

Overall, AI led the way as an IFA theme this year, from security to new use cases and the “home of the future.” Sustainability was discussed in many keynotes from leading innovators as well as the future of IoT and regulation.

Thank you to everyone who attended our booth. We can’t wait to see what the next 100 years of innovation will bring!
