2022 has been and continues to be one of the most significant years in Fresco’s journey, so we were delighted to put together a great schedule of workshops and talks to bring you up to speed on our latest innovations. In case you missed the event, here’s a summary of the virtual summit:
Fresco at SKS 2022
On day one, Fresco’s CEO Ben Harris was on the mainstage with Mengting Gao, Co-founder, and CEO at Kitchen Stories, and Kai Schaffner, Global Executive, and former CEO and President of Vorwerk North America, for a discussion on the state of the future of smart kitchen. The conversation hosted by Michael Wolf highlighted appliance manufacturers’ challenges and how Fresco is leveraging its unique technology to revolutionize the connected cooking experience for home chefs.
In Fresco’s booth, Tim Redfern, Head of Innovation, in conversation with Haley Mueller, Fresco’s Global Account Manager, talked about customer confidence in the smart kitchen and the importance of security.
At Fresco, we continue solving manufacturers’ challenges by offering an end-to-end solution for bringing a connected appliance to the market. We can provide support for production line setup, certification, and penetration testing necessary to provide peace of mind for appliance manufacturers developing a new connected product.
We also announced our membership with the Connectivity Standards Alliance and will be a participant in shaping the Matter standard for the connected kitchen. We're excited to work with companies like Apple, Google, and Amazon to continue improving user experience, data privacy, and security in the smart home.
On day two, we were back on the main stage for a workshop exploring the ingredients of a great connected recipe. As we enter the age of the connected kitchen, how we write recipes has changed, maximizing the usability of appliances and simplifying the experience of home cooks.
Hugh Durkin, VP of Product Platform and Adam Bermingham, Head of AI, discussed the perfect recipe for connected cooking. From the amount of time spent interacting with appliances to the precise blend of ingredients, the team shared their unique insights to help inform your strategy.
